Job summary

The Adam Corporation Group in Midland, TX, is seeking an experienced underwriting professional to prepare in-depth credit analyses for SBA 7a, 504 and Express loans, ensuring compliance with SBA SOP and bank credit standards.

You will assemble credit packages, review cash flow and collateral, coordinate with Business Development Officers, and support loan closings and annual SBA reviews. A bachelor’s degree and SBA credit training, plus 1–5 years of banking experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline.
• Formal Bank Commercial Credit training or equivalent classes (RMA, ABA, etc.).
• 1 to 5 years banking/credit experience with 1 to 2 years SBA credit analysis.
• Strong understanding of SBA SOP eligibility requirements.
• Knowledgeable of Excel and general computer systems.
• Experience with credit analysis software.
• Knowledgeable in banking regulations state and federal.

Responsibilities

• Performs SBA audit quality review and approval of loan applications for 7a, 504 and Express loans.
• Determines loan eligibility and structures transactions to meet SBA and bank guidelines.
• Communicates with Business Development Officers and team members as appropriate.
• Prepares detailed financial analyses of borrowing entities and guarantors.
• Obtains and reviews credit reports and other documentation for accuracy and acceptability.
• Generates credit approval memoranda reflecting underwriting for SBA/bank standards.
• Assembles credit committee packages for presentation and approval.
• Reviews third-party reports and supports closing once approvals are in place.
• Assists with annual reviews of existing SBA loans and monthly deal tracking.
