Job summary
Meridian Bank is seeking a detail‑oriented SBA Lending Associate to support the SBA lending team in coordinating loan settlements, closing logistics, and compliance with SBA regulations. You will gather documentation, review disclosures, and ensure accurate closings in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent banking experience, strong teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 year of banking experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Working knowledge of SBA regulations.
- Working knowledge of the bank’s tickler system preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of SBA’s SOP.
Responsibilities
- Assist in activities to finalize SBA loan settlements to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate closing dates/locations between Lender and Closing Agent.
- Gather and review information for settlement documents and disclosures.
- Monitor pipeline to ensure timely disclosures and closing documents.
- Review title reports and input closing data in Etran.
- Assist with Loan Estimate preparation and disclosures for accuracy.
- Handle post-closing changes to Closing Disclosure.
