Job summary

Valley Bank is seeking an experienced SBA loan closing specialist to support 7(a) and 504 transactions. You will analyze documentation, coordinate closings with attorneys and borrowers, and ensure accuracy and SBA compliance throughout the process.

Key responsibilities include reviewing due diligence, managing the closing schedule, and assisting lenders with packaging, funding, and servicing while delivering superior internal and external customer support.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent with 3+ years SBA 7(a) experience.
• NAGGL or other SBA training completed.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary analysis for SBA submissions and PLP requirements.
• Review and prepare SBA loan packages for submission or PLP approval.
• Analyze loan documentation for accuracy and eligibility.
• Manage closing process with attorney, borrower, and BDO.
• Coordinate due diligence and ensure compliance with SBA approval.
• Review closing docs for accuracy and advise on clear to close.
• Analyze equity injection vs final closing injection per SBA rules.
• Assist lenders with packaging, funding, and servicing.
• Provide superior customer service and timely information.
• Ensure compliance with SBA SOP and SBA regulations.
