Job summary

Pape-Dawson's Savannah office seeks an Associate Vice President to lead land development projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships. This hands-on leader will guide complex residential developments, partner with municipalities, and contribute to business development in the Savannah market.

The ideal candidate will have substantial residential land development experience, a seller/doer background, and a P.E.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
P.E. licensure in Georgia is required.
Minimum 12 years in civil engineering and land development.
Strong residential land development experience and seller/doer background.
Experience mentoring teams and leading client relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead Savannah land development team and drive office growth.
Mentor and guide project managers, engineers, designers, and staff.
Own complex residential land development projects from planning to closeout.
Serve as primary client contact with developers, public agencies, and partners.
Lead large-scale residential and infrastructure projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget.
Develop staff and build succession for Savannah team.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention of key personnel.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and proposals.
