Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks a Vice President to lead the Savannah land development team, directing complex residential projects from planning to closeout while maintaining top client relationships and growing the office presence in the region.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentorship of project managers and engineers, and strong seller/doer capabilities with public-sector experience preferred. Georgia PE license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Georgia.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive civil engineering and land development experience; 20+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated seller/doer background with established client and industry relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for the Savannah land development team and support office growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, engineers, designers, and staff.
• Direct complex residential land development projects from planning through final design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
• Maintain key client relationships and serve as trusted advisor to developers and public agencies.
• Drive business development, client outreach, proposals, RFQs/RFPs, interviews, and fee development.
