Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers’ Savannah office seeks an experienced Associate Vice President to lead the land development team and drive growth in residential projects. You will manage complex sites, maintain key client relationships, and mentor staff while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in design, permitting, and project delivery, with strong emphasis on business development and public/private sector engagement within Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Georgia-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive civil engineering and land development experience.
• Experience leading large-scale residential land development projects.
• Strong business development, proposal, and client presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Savannah land development team and drive office growth.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and designers.
• Own complex residential land development projects from planning to closeout.
• Maintain direct client relationships with private developers and public agencies.
• Lead proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure design, production, quality control, and PM standards.
