Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers' Savannah office, opened in 2025, provides civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying services to clients in the Savannah region. The Vice President will lead the Savannah land development team, drive growth, mentor staff, and cultivate key client relationships while delivering complex residential projects.

This hands-on leadership role requires a seller/doer background, extensive residential land development experience, and a proven ability to manage projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Georgia.
• 15–20+ years in civil engineering and land development; 20+ preferred.
• Extensive residential land development experience, including large-scale and single-family projects.
• Proven seller/doer background with established client relationships.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and business development capabilities.
• Experience supporting public-sector clients and working with municipalities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for the Savannah land development team and drive office growth.
• Mentor and develop a team of project managers, engineers, designers, and staff.
• Direct complex residential land development projects from planning to closeout.
• Own key client relationships and act as trusted advisor to developers and public agencies.
• Lead projects involving large-scale residential development, infrastructure, and utilities.
• Ensure quality, schedule, budget, and profitability of project delivery.
• Balance senior leadership with active client service and project execution.
