Job summary

Insight Enterprises in Savannah, GA is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Technician to join a large aerospace client. You will provide hands-on IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Responsibilities include deploying hardware, resolving OS and software issues, and guiding users with clear, step-by-step instructions. You’ll work 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, onsite, with a focus on white-glove service.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in desktop support or help desk.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows and macOS.
• Familiar with printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Experience with enterprise IT environments and support protocols.
• Citrix experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support for end users in a large enterprise environment.
• Unpack, install, configure, and test desktops, laptops, operating systems, software applications, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, printer, and networking issues.
• Manage and resolve support tickets while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.
• Follow up with users to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
