RTX in Las Cruces, NM, seeks a Systems Engineer for satellite Operations and Maintenance in a 24/7 environment. You will join a skilled O&M team, handling operations planning, monitoring, and problem solving with certified SMEs.

On-the-job training leads to mastery of ground software deliveries. The role requires a STEM degree and a TS/SCI CI Poly clearance, US citizenship, and willingness to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required before start date.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Build/implement daily operations plans using complex software/hardware.
• Maintain procedures repository and apply correct procedures for scenarios.
• Gain/apply knowledge of hardware subsystems and document discrepancies.
• Develop workarounds and contingency plans for system anomalies.
• Support testing, readiness, training, and ground software deliveries.
• Cross-train and assist with training within the contract team.
• Support test activities and cover 24/7 shifts as needed.
