Job summary

TaskUs is seeking a Sales and Customer Service Representative to engage prospective customers through inbound interactions, promoting satellite internet services and educating them on plans and hardware options. You will close sales while delivering an excellent customer experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience customer service.
• Previous experience in sales or telecommunications is preferred but not required; we will train you!
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to simplify and explain technical information to everyday customers.
• Goal driven mindset with a passion for helping customers.
• Comfortable using computers, multiple systems, and communication tools.
• Flexibility to work various shifts depending on program needs.
• Computer literate and proficient in Windows OS, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
• Familiar with customer support software, including Zendesk, Slack, and internal troubleshooting tools to resolve issues.
• Fluent in the English language, reading and writing in English.
• Must be at least a high school graduate.
• Must meet minimum typing requirement of 25 wpm.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Great communication skills, written and oral.
• Must be adaptable and flexible, demonstrating abilities to work with process and information changes.
• Empathic toward customers and can maintain a customer-centric approach.
• Team player and collaborative spirit.
• Open to feedback, eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Promote satellite internet solutions via inbound calls.
• Understand customer needs and recommend plans and equipment.
• Explain product benefits, including speed, installation details, and service availability.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, conversion goals, and quality metrics.
• Process orders, update customer information, and document interactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and promotions.
• Provide a consultative, customer-centric experience building trust.
• Collaborate with leaders and trainers to improve product knowledge and selling techniques.
