You will collaborate across engineering and operations to align offerings with customer needs, travel as needed, and drive growth in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
• 15+ years in business development, program management, or systems engineering in aerospace.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience securing large contracts (>$20M) and managing strategic relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead satellite-focused BD initiatives for defense applications.
• Develop capture strategies for large defense or civil space contracts.
• Engage with customer stakeholders to build long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling proposals.
• Monitor industry trends to inform BD strategy.
• Grow opportunities with existing customers and develop new ones.
• Represent Rocket Lab at conferences and customer meetings.
