Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 15+ years in BD, PM, or systems engineering within aerospace.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Proven record of securing large contracts (> $20M).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for clients and events.
• Knowledge of government acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead satellite BD initiatives focused on defense applications.
• Develop capture strategies for large defense or civil space contracts.
• Engage with key stakeholders to build long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare compelling proposals.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies.
• Grow opportunities with existing customers and develop new ones.
• Represent Rocket Lab at industry conferences and customer meetings.
