Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Solution Specialist to design, develop, and support SAP QM solutions that enable quality processes across global manufacturing operations.

The role requires deep domain knowledge of SAP QM, strong SDLC expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. You will lead functional analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support activities for QM enhancements and projects, collaborating with quality, manufacturing, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT or quality/manufacturing domains.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.
• Experience with SAP QM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas using expanded conceptual and practical knowledge.
• Works closely with business process teams, technical teams and other stakeholders to design and build objects which meet requirements.
• Communicates effectively both within the team and with external stakeholders (e.g. businesses and technical counterparts).
• Communicates status, metrics, risks, and issues on a timely basis.
• Applies knowledge and experience in software development methodologies in order to support work processes.
• Documents detailed designs.
• Builds, tests and implements application objects.
• Assists with issue resolution.
• Helps ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision.
