Dow Inc. is seeking a Solution Specialist to design, develop, and support SAP QM solutions across global manufacturing operations.

The role requires expanding conceptual knowledge in information systems, translating business needs into scalable technology, and guiding junior team members. You will work with quality, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure reliable data flow and continuous improvement in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant or 5 years relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Gathers and analyzes business requirements for assigned functional and technical areas using expanded conceptual and practical knowledge
• Works closely with business process teams, technical teams and other stakeholders to design and build objects which meet requirements
• Communicates effectively both within the team and with external stakeholders (e.g. businesses and technical counterparts)
• Communicates status, metrics, risks, and issues on a timely basis
• Applies knowledge and experience in software development methodologies in order to support work processes
• Documents detailed designs
• Builds, tests and implements application objects
• Assists with issue resolution
• Helps ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision
• Lead functional analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and support activities for SAP QM enhancements and projects
• Support quality execution processes by addressing application issues related to inspection lots, results recording, usage decisions, quality notifications, quality reporting, and batch-related quality management
• Analyze and resolve application, process, data, and integration issues by applying structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis approaches in collaboration with business and technical teams
• Support and contribute to project delivery, system upgrades, testing cycles, and deployments impacting quality management applications
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, testing strategies, support procedures, and knowledge transfer materials to improve solution clarity and supportability
• Monitor and support interfaces between SAP QM solutions and integrated applications to ensure reliable data flow and business continuity
• Collaborate with business process experts, developers, architects, and support teams to improve application reliability, usability, and supportability
• Participate in incident management, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting a 24x7 manufacturing environment
• Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to junior team members and support resources
