Job summary

Konecranes in Wisconsin is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to efficiently process purchase requests into SAP Purchase Orders, expediting orders and coordinating with suppliers.

You will work in a fast-paced team, ensuring on-time deliveries, communicating shipping dates, and supporting internal business units with purchasing and vendor inquiries.

Strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in Excel and Word, and a high school diploma are required; an Associate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• ERP experience with SAP is preferred; customer service mindset essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and office software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Requests into SAP Purchase Orders accurately and timely.
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Use Preferred and Approved Vendor lists when selecting suppliers.
• Communicate shipping dates and adjustments to business units promptly.
• Collaborate with internal/external vendors on availability, pricing, and delivery times.
• Monitor and release sales orders from Frontline Service Organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
