Job summary

Konecranes in Watertown, WI is seeking a Production Planner to ensure materials are available to meet customer delivery requirements and to prevent manufacturing delays.

You will develop shop floor schedules, run SAP reports, release production orders daily, and coordinate with order management, shipping, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of planning/scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• APICS certification preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO quality requirements, OSHA standards, and Kaizen/lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop a production schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Run SAP reports to provide manufacturing/order status to management.
• Release production orders daily to support shop floor.
• Attend and participate in production meetings.
• Coordinate with Order Management on new sales orders and shipping date changes.
• Collaborate with shop floor and managers to adjust capacity and scheduling.
• Work with shipping to set up schedules for large items.
• Support safety initiatives and maintain safe work practices.
