Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to efficiently process purchase requests into SAP purchase orders and expedite orders for on-time delivery. The role involves vendor coordination, price and delivery inquiries, and collaboration with internal teams.

Education ranges from a high school diploma to an associate degree in SCM or related fields, with SAP and Excel proficiency beneficial for daily operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Post-secondary education in SCM/Business/Logistics or Procurement a plus.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and office administration principles required.
• ERP/SAP experience preferred; ability to coordinate with internal and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Requests into SAP Purchase Orders accurately and timely.
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Use preferred/approved vendor list for sourcing.
• Communicate shipping dates and any adjustments proactively.
• Work with vendors on availability, pricing, delivery times, and order status.
• Monitor and release sales orders from Frontline Service Organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
