Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Purchasing Administrator in New Berlin, WI to efficiently process purchase requests into SAP Purchase Orders and monitor orders for on-time delivery. The role requires strong communication, Excel/Word skills, and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately process Purchase Requests from the Service Branches into SAP Purchase Orders ensuring timely handling.
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Utilize suppliers based on the Preferred and Approved Vendor list.
• Communicate supplier shipping dates with the business units and adjust dates as needed.
• Work with internal and external vendors on inquiries of availability, pricing, delivery times, and order status.
• Monitor and release sales orders created from the Frontline Service Organization.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
