Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an organized, customer-focused Order Management Specialist to support the full order lifecycle from quotation through delivery. You will use SAP to maintain accurate records, communicate status, and resolve issues, ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.

Hybrid schedule out of the Muncie, IN office, collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Finance to fulfill orders and respond promptly to inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service or order management.
• 2+ years using SAP or another ERP system.
• 2+ years with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• 2+ years communicating with customers and cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years performing accurate data entry and record management.
• 2+ years using MS Office (Outlook, Excel) to support operations.
• 2+ years applying problem-solving and proactive follow-up.
• 2+ years working independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through shipment.
• Enter, update, and monitor sales orders, pricing, and records in SAP.
• Prepare accurate quotations using approved pricing and terms.
• Review purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide customers with clear updates on quotations and delivery status.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Shipping to fulfill orders.
• Identify and resolve order discrepancies; escalate when needed.
• Maintain records and comply with internal controls.
• Prioritize requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Build relationships through professional communication and reliability.
• Support process improvements to enhance accuracy and responsiveness.
