Our goal is to provide clients with unique insights on leveraging SAP technology to enhance operations. This is based on EY’s SAP service capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, SuccessFactors) aimed at improving performance and productivity.

The opportunity

In this role, you will engage with stakeholders to evaluate business models, gather and analyze requirements, and translate these into technical specifications. You will also review new technology implementations to ensure alignment with business needs, collaborating with technical teams on system architecture design and delivery.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you will manage and deliver complex technical projects, requiring innovative problem-solving and analytical skills. This position involves regular travel to client sites and is based in [Location].

• Lead workstream delivery, managing processes and solutions effectively.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Lead client sessions, managing projects from planning to closure.
• Demonstrate technical expertise and strong business understanding.
• Ensure high-quality client service, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Build relationships with client personnel at various levels.
• Gather requirements, lead workshops, and develop functional specifications for SAP Asset Management solutions.
• Stay updated on new SAP Asset Management functionalities.
• Collaborate across workstreams to design, test, and deploy SAP solutions.

Successful candidates will have a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, including relationship-building, effective communication, and a proactive attitude. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand and advise on SAP Asset Management capabilities, translating needs into solutions and configurations.

• Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems.
• Experience managing projects and teams, with change management skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities for additional services and lead RFP responses.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
• 4-6 years of relevant SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance (PM)/EAM experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• Understanding of Asset Management principles and practices.
• Experience managing SAP projects and teams.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, benchmarking, and advisory experience.
• Willingness to travel 40-60% as needed.

Preferred qualifications

• Client relationship management experience.
• Background in technology analysis and implementation.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP Fiori.
• SAP certifications.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, utilities, mining, or energy sectors.
• Experience with additional SAP products and third-party tools as listed.
