Job summary

Accenture in the United States is seeking a Manager-level SAP Finance Transformation leader to drive SAP-based finance programs for Utilities clients. You will shape roadmaps, lead sales origination and client presentations, and architect end-to-end Finance solutions leveraging SAP technologies and partner add-ons.

You will manage large project teams, stay current on regulations and innovations, and act as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years functional/technical experience in SAP Finance, including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Product Costing.
Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP projects supporting Utilities' clients.
Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 implementations, including project planning, estimation and solution architecture for Utilities clients
Experience driving complex workshops and leading design decisions, as well as leading the design and execution of system build, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live in the SAP Finance area.
Experience managing SAP delivery teams in a Global Delivery model
Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Responsibilities

Engage with senior client Finance executives on business challenges/trends and potential value of SAP solutions.
Lead customers in defining their SAP journey through the development of business cases and roadmaps including during sales origination, proposal development and client presentations.
Architect end-to-end Finance solutions that leverage SAP technologies, custom apps, and add-on partner solutions.
Clearly explain SAP’s Business AI strategy and identify functional areas where AI can deliver real value to clients.
Experience in deployment of AI use cases within SAP delivery to improve efficiency and explain how AI-driven improvements can enhance project delivery.
Advise, design and deliver Finance solutions based on latest industry and technology best practices leveraging SAP solutions and embedded innovation.
Lead large project teams onsite with clients or within Accenture to achieve transformational roadmaps.
Become a trusted expert and advisor to clients, team, and leadership by staying current on regulations and innovations.
Be a thought leader, build assets and best practices and develop the next level of transformation experts
