Job summary

LANXESS in Pittsburgh is seeking a Logistics / Customer Order Specialist to manage SAP-driven order processing, pricing checks, and coordination with plants and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

You will collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance, handle inquiries, resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement in customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent business/industry experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong SAP (ERP) proficiency in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders in SAP to ensure on-time delivery.
• Respond to inquiries on orders, pricing, shipments, and availability.
• Resolve issues, deductions, and order discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate shipping between customers and plants per procedures.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance.
• Support continuous improvement for customer satisfaction and efficiency.
