Job summary

LANXESS in Pittsburgh is seeking a Logistics and Customer Operations specialist to process customer orders in SAP, maintain master data, and review POs for accuracy, including pricing and Incoterms.

You will coordinate deliveries, monitor receivables, collaborate with Sales and Finance, allocate inventory to meet demand, track shipments, and resolve transport issues, contributing to high service levels and efficient supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, logistics, or supply chain).
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, order management or customer service.
• Solid knowledge of SAP order-to-cash processes and master data maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders accurately in SAP to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain customer master data including contact info and shipping instructions.
• Review customer POs for accuracy, pricing, Incoterms and requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries, schedules, and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances to support timely payments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and customers to resolve issues and reduce delinquencies.
• Allocate inventory to meet demand while considering lead times and commitments.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and resolve transport issues.
• Communicate supply constraints and product availability to management and teams.
