Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a qualified supply chain professional in Pittsburgh to manage orders, inventory, and logistics coordination within SAP. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in project management and international coordination.

You will interface with Sales, Finance, and customers to resolve disputes, ensure accurate invoicing, and optimize working capital across North America. A PhD in Organic Chemistry or related fields complements the profile.

Qualifications

• Project management experience is required.
• International experience is desirable for global coordination.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer orders in SAP to ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.
• Maintain customer master data, including contact information, shipping instructions, and communication records.
• Review customer purchase orders for accuracy, including pricing and Incoterms.
• Coordinate special customer requests, delivery schedules, and transportation arrangements.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances to support timely payment collection.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and customers to resolve issues and improve cash flow.
• Convert monthly demand forecasts into intercompany purchase orders in SAP.
• Monitor product availability and coordinate intercompany shipments for North America.
