Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a Regional Customer Service/Supply Chain specialist in Pittsburgh for a hybrid role. You will plan and execute processing of customer orders, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain customer Master Data.

Coordinate with plants on special requests and shipping arrangements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Business/Logistics, 3–5 years in supply chain, and proficiency in SAP, LMS, Lotus Notes, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain with 3–5 years related experience.
Proficient in Lotus Notes, LMS and SAP.
Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
International logistics operations experience and knowledge of export compliance desirable.
Hybrid role with on-site Pittsburgh office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute processing of customer orders in L4P to ensure on-time delivery and accurate master data.
Maintain customer messages and contact info in Customer Master Data records; notify plants of special requests and shipping arrangements; verify price and incoterms on POs.
Investigate blocked freight orders and issues; apply LANXESS logistics procedures and TM module knowledge.
Collaborate with FIT Order to Cash on upgrades and rollouts; escalate issues to IPG NA if needed.
Review orders on credit block following corporate policies and BU guidelines.
Assist Head of SCM NA in identifying improvements to streamline procedures and improve team efficiency.
