Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Data Management and Strategy to transform data into a strategic asset for clients. You will lead cross-functional teams leveraging SAP data and integration tools to ensure data integrity across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

This role focuses on governance, data quality, and data migration initiatives to enable scalable operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, shape data strategy, and drive governance frameworks while managing multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant SAP data experience including full-cycle implementations.
• Specialized experience across SAP data disciplines: Data Migration, Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Analytics, data quality programs, Enterprise IT Architecture.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA data model and hands-on data/system migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations and technical documentation.
• Proven experience leading SAP data projects or workstreams and managing project-based teams.
• Knowledge of leading practices and advisory experience across industry-specific finance and technology environments.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstream delivery for data management projects, ensuring timely and quality results.
• Engage with clients daily, identify opportunities for additional services, and manage engagement economics.
• Provide direction to teams and foster collaborative, innovative solutions.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and establish procedures affecting the work areas.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria for results.
• Manage project status and deliverables with effective risk management.
