Job summary

Hawaiian Electric Company seeks an IT Functional Program Manager to lead the CIS SAP environment on Oahu, Maui, or Hawai'i Island. You will supervise functional administrators, drive system administration, enhancements, upgrades, and testing, aligning with ITIL/COBIT practices.

The role requires five+ years of managing large enterprise change initiatives, strong leadership, and experience with SAP CIS. You will collaborate with vendors and regulators while shaping strategic roadmaps and budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification desirable.
• Five or more years in management or oversight of large enterprise change initiatives.
• Experience in customer service and operational areas in regulated electric utility.
• Experience with SAP CIS.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees CIS SAP configuration, maintenance, and testing; oversee enhancements following ITIL/COBIT.
• Leads a team, assigns work, monitors performance, and mentors staff.
• Collaborates with internal/external staff, vendors, and regulators; stays current with industry trends.
• Develops forecasts, budgets, and roadmaps; plans SAP CIS initiatives and upgrades.
• Supports internal and external audit initiatives as required.
