Job summary

Hawaiian Electric Companies is seeking an IT Functional Program Manager to oversee the CIS SAP landscape and related systems on Oahu, Maui, or Hawaii Island. This professional supervisor will lead a team, coordinate with IT and business stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in line with ITIL and COBIT practices.

The role requires 5+ years in large enterprise change initiatives, SAP CIS experience, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; advanced business admin training desirable.
• PMP or equivalent certification desirable.
• Working knowledge of SAP CIS and major elements of the electric utility business.
• Thorough knowledge of project management tools and change management concepts.
• Experience with SAP CIS, data security, and reporting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CIS SAP maintenance, configuration, and upgrades.
• Lead a team, assign work, and develop staff.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and vendors to deliver improvements.
• Develop forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics; align with governance and audits.
• Manage third‑party consultants and ensure availability for after-hours work.
