Job summary

HMSA seeks an experienced IT leader to oversee the Enterprise Application Administration team in a hybrid Hawaii-based role. You will act as the technology lead and liaison, aligning solutions with HMSA goals and customer requirements to sustain competitive advantage.

The role requires overseeing software systems, lifecycle processes, and incident management, while mentoring staff and guiding strategic IT roadmaps. Honolulu-based with a hybrid work pattern.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of technical and business experience across multiple technologies and business functions.
• 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the Enterprise Application Administration team.
• Serve as technology lead and liaison to HMSA in developing and linking solutions to company requirements, goals, and objectives to create and maintain a competitive advantage.
• Responsible for procurement and leads the team of engineers to implement, install, configure, manage, maintain and support software systems.
• Contributes in strategic discussions to define IT strategies and roadmaps and reviews solution architectures.
• Monitor system effectiveness, resolve problems, identify trends and implement improvements within SLAs.
• Oversee vendor relationships and manage hardware, software, and licensing procurement.
