Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor in Berryville, AR to lead daily sanitation of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and GMPs. The role oversees sanitation staff, develops procedures, and collaborates with QA, maintenance, and production teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food industry.
• Previous sanitation leadership experience preferred.
• Experience supervising and developing employees.
• Knowledge of HACCP, Food safety programs, GMPs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret MSDS/SDS documents, safety procedures, and operating manuals.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily sanitation activities for equipment and facility cleaning.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate sanitation team members.
• Develop and maintain sanitation documentation, including SSOPs, Cleaning logs, Master Sanitation Schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Food safety standards, GMPs, OSHA and regulations.
• Train employees on the safe operation and disassembly of equipment.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Production, R&D, chemical suppliers.
• Drive sanitation improvements, cost reductions, and process efficiencies.
• Protect product integrity during cleaning operations.
• Monitor sanitation quality, productivity, and food safety performance.
