Responsibilities include staffing, training, coordinating with supervisors, ensuring USDA inspections, and promoting continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership and communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational/college courses preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• You’ll hire, train, retain, and counsel the team on personal and professional matters; educate on benefits, compensation, and policies.
• You’ll monitor daily production orders to fulfill customer orders, ensure accurate shipments, rotate inventory, and code products.
• Ensure all workstations are staffed before production start-up.
• Ensure machinery is functioning and all stations pass USDA inspection.
• Promote safety through daily activities and monthly meetings.
• Oversee processing operations and collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems.
• Provide continuous education on quality.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.
