Qualifications

• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
• Able to tolerate temperatures 35°F or below for entire shift
• Working knowledge of USDA regulations and sanitation standards preferred
• Willing to complete all required training for the job

Responsibilities

• Cover, sanitize, clean and prep equipment for use in various departments
• Use pressure hose to spray down equipment and scour parts
• Sanitize equipment and areas and apply oil where needed
• Remove waste to compactor and separate recyclables
• Assist in coordinating evening work assignments
• Train sanitation employees in cleaning production, kitchen, Cryovac and dry rooms
• Inspect machines and re-clean/re-sanitize rejected areas
• Assist supervisor in training and safety awareness and conduct swabs
