Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Sanitation Lead to support the supervisor in meeting daily goals while ensuring safe, efficient sanitation operations. The role involves coordinating startup/shutdown, leading team meetings, training staff, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards across production areas.

You will guide team members, monitor sanitation practices, and communicate effectively with management.

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience with the same employer listed on application.
• Experience in a lead, trainer or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in meeting daily departmental goals and communicate goals and directions to team members.
• Lead department meetings and huddles on safety, quality, equipment updates, and sanitation schedules.
• Inspect sanitation processes and equipment, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate startup/shutdown/changeovers and provide guidance and training to team members.
• Respond to sanitation requests and notify supervisors of maintenance needs.
• Document schedules, reports and required paperwork in systems or on paper.
