Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II specializing in food processing sanitation to lead a dedicated crew, ensuring safety and high hygiene standards across a processing facility. You will drive improved sanitation practices while managing budgets, staff development, and coordination with the Corporate office and customers.

You will plan and implement sanitation strategies, monitor safety audits, and guide the team to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• General working knowledge of computers/technology (Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
• Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets.
• Manage site usages of labor, supplies, and chemicals to ensure P&L standards are met.
• Evaluate and document sanitation process for potential cost savings citing specific areas, dollars and/or percentages to support recommendations.
