Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II to lead sanitation operations in a food processing environment. You will oversee a dedicated team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

This role requires strong leadership, hands-on sanitation experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to meet production goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• General computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Able to wear PPE and work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement sanitation strategy to meet safety, performance, and budget targets.
• Lead sanitation team and manage labor, supplies, and chemical usage to meet P&L standards.
• Monitor sanitation processes and identify cost-saving opportunities with quantified impact.
• Maintain daily communication with Area Manager and Corporate office on issues, logs, payroll, and orders.
• Conduct weekly safety audits and develop staff through coaching and training.
