Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II focused on food processing sanitation. You will lead a dedicated sanitation crew, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering safe, clean facilities for our customers.

You will partner with Area Manager and plant leadership to optimize sanitation programs, drive cost savings, and mentor staff through hiring, training, and performance reviews in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• Ability to read, write, add and subtract.
• General working knowledge of computers/technology (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement operational strategy for performance, safety, timeliness and budget.
• Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets.
• Supervise sanitation crew and direct staff performance, hiring and training.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer expectations, including safety and ERP training.
• Liaise with customers and regulatory agencies to address issues and corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
