Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II specializing in food processing sanitation to lead a dedicated team and uphold cleaning and hygiene standards that ensure product quality and consumer safety. You will oversee daily operations, manage the sanitation crew, and coordinate with plant leadership to meet safety and budget goals.

The role requires at least 2 years of sanitation experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in environments with extreme temps.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
• Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets.
• Manage site usages of labor, supplies, and chemicals to ensure P&L standards are met.
• Evaluate and document sanitation process for potential cost savings with quantified impact.
• Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues and improvements within set timeframes.
