Central Valley Meat Co., Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize production equipment in a meat processing facility in Santa Maria, CA. You will follow HACCP and GMP rules, prepare for USDA inspection, and report any equipment issues.

The role requires handling heavy tasks, standing and moving for long shifts in hot and dirty environments, with an evening shift 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a food manufacturing sanitation setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical activity.
• Able to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Stand, walk, carry, hold tools and hoses, crouch, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull.
• Shift 6:30 PM- 3:00 AM.
• Able to work in hot, bloody and dirty environment.
• Overtime and Saturday work may be required.
• Comply with USDA inspection readiness and safety standards.

Responsabilités

Under the direction of the Quality Control Director and the Sanitation Supervisor the Sanitation Technician is responsible for performing cleaning of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans production equipment as assigned.
• Reports any equipment breakage immediately to the Sanitation Supervisor or QC.
• Follows all Safety rules.
• Complies with HACCP, GMP’s, SOP and Food safety requirements
• Washes, scrubs, rinses machinery and conveyors in assigned working areas using chemicals and cleaning tools.
• Complete the cleaning process and prepare for USDA inspection.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• This is a hands-on assignment and physically active position.

Qualifications
