Job summary

Central Valley Meat Company Inc in Hanford, CA 93230 is seeking a Sanitation Technician to clean production equipment under the direction of the Quality Control Director and the Sanitation Supervisor. This full-time graveyard shift position requires heavy physical activity and the ability to work in hot, bloody environments.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, reporting breakages, following safety rules, and complying with HACCP, GMPs, SOPs and USDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a food manufacturing and sanitation setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical activity and work in varying temperature conditions.
• Position requires standing, walking, carrying, holding tools and hoses, crouching, kneeling, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Working at heights.
• Able to work evening shift, Saturdays and overtime.
• Able to work in hot, bloody and dirty environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans production equipment as assigned.
• Reports any equipment breakage immediately to the Sanitation Supervisor or QC.
• Follows all Safety rules.
• Complies with HACCP, GMPs, SOP and Food safety requirements
• Washes, scrubs, rinses machinery and conveyors in assigned working areas using chemicals and cleaning tools.
• Complete the cleaning process and prepare for USDA inspection.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• This is a hands-on assignment and physically active position.
