Job summary

GRAVITAS Wine Marketing in San Diego is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our California portfolio of wines from top producers. The role requires a proactive self-starter with strong relationships and a focus on customer service.

You will establish and manage buyer relationships at key accounts, regularly conduct sales calls, and drive growth by placing our wines on wine lists and in retail accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside wine sales, minimum 3 years.
• Selling to independent retailers and on-premise accounts.
• Broad knowledge of wines from France, Italy, and the Southern Hemisphere.
• WSET or CMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage buyer relationships across territory.
• Conduct regular sales calls with existing and potential customers.
• Increase sales by targeting wine lists and retail placements.
• Meet new account goals via cold calling and follow-up.
• Identify opportunities and propose solutions.
• Coordinate staff education events and promotions.
• Participate in monthly sales meetings and goal reviews.
