Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our San Diego, CA office. The role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in organizing, scheduling, and recording all construction activities on the project.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of one year of field experience. Procore and blueprint reading skills, along with strong Excel proficiency, are preferred; Primavera P6 familiarity

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field is required.
1+ years of experience in the field or related area is required.
Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency are expected.
Working knowledge of Procore or similar construction software is a plus.
Working knowledge of blueprint reading is required.

Responsibilities

Attend meetings and transcribe detailed minutes.
Inspect construction site daily and coordinate with subcontractors.
Review designs, drawings, submittals, and shop drawings for compliance.
Prepare field design changes and as-built drawings as required.
Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change order processes with the Owner and contractors.
