Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our San Diego, CA office. You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with organizing, scheduling, monitoring, and recording construction activities on major California projects.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 1 year in the field, with strong Excel skills and Procore knowledge being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field is required.
• Minimum one year of field experience or related area.
• Strong Excel MS Office skills; Procore knowledge is a plus.
• Blueprint reading and scheduling/estimating software familiarity; Primavera P6 desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings, transcribe minutes clearly and accurately.
• Inspect site daily, coordinate with subcontractors for deliveries.
• Review designs/drawings for installation and qualifications.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Process RFIs, manage change orders and owner communications.
• Coordinate submittals between subcontractors and consultants.
• Prepare field design changes and as-built drawings as required.
• Generate status reports, punch lists, and material calculations.
