Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Allentown, PA is seeking a Sample Receiving Technician to log samples, assign test codes, and release materials to operations for analysis. You will ensure accurate documentation, proper shipment preparation, and adherence to quality processes in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Responsibilities include receiving and logging samples, data entry into LIMS, and communication with clients to clarify missing details.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 1+ year relevant work experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer operation skills to enter incoming sample information into the LIMS.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Written and oral communication skills are essential.
• General office skills are useful.

Responsibilities

• Log and enter samples in LIMS with IDs and documentation.
• Contact clients to clarify missing information for accurate coding.
• Store samples safely and dispose of extras while maintaining integrity.
• Prepare packages for shipping and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare samples for transfer to other facilities and file accordingly.
• Assist with development of customized client reports and data analysis.
• Support quality and continuous improvement processes.
• Identify departures from the quality system and document observations.
