Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Allentown, PA is seeking a Sample Receiving Technician to log in samples, assign test codes, and expeditiously release samples for analysis. You will prepare documentation and coordinate with clients to clarify missing information while maintaining sample integrity.

The role requires HS diploma with 1+ year relevant experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate the LIMS system.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma with 1+ year relevant work experience.
• Basic computer operation skills to enter information into the LIMS.
• Knowledge of microbiology and chemistry is helpful for assigning codes.
• Strong organizational and data entry skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log in samples for analysis.
• Assign identification numbers and enter data into the LIMS.
• Prepare documentation for analysis and shipping.
• Contact clients to clarify missing or unclear information.
• Package samples for shipment and manage related records.
• Prepare samples for transfer to other facilities when needed.
• Assist with client reports and data analysis.
• Support quality processes and follow procedures.
