It offers exposure to clinical processes within a large, professional lab operation. The contract position requires at least 2 years in sample management or related field, a high school diploma, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sample management, inventory control, laboratory operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of inventory management and sample tracking processes.
• Understanding of laboratory documentation practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to review and follow SOPs consistently.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, label, inventory, store, and distribute samples and standards per procedures.
• Maintain records and track sample status for full traceability.
• Communicate sample status and updates to lab staff.
• Support proper sample handling, storage, and documentation for data quality.
• Review lab requests for SOP compliance.
• Assist with CAPAs related to sample management.
• Train staff on sample management procedures and storage requirements.
• Respond to environmental monitoring alarms and support on-call needs.
