Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sample Management Coordinator to support laboratory operations at our Richmond, VA site. You will oversee receipt, labeling, inventory, storage and distribution of samples and standards, ensuring accurate records and SOP compliance.

The role involves collaborating with laboratory staff, handling documentation, and participating in on-call support while maintaining safety and quality standards in a structured, process-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in sample management or a related field.
• Experience with inventory tracking and documentation practices in a lab setting.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, label, inventory, store and distribute samples per procedures.
• Maintain records and track sample status through the workflow.
• Communicate sample status and updates clearly to lab staff.
