Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sample Management Coordinator to support laboratory operations by overseeing receipt, tracking, storage, and distribution of samples and standards. The role offers exposure to clinical processes within a large, professionally run laboratory environment and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include logging, labeling, inventory, and communicating sample status; ensuring proper handling, storage, and documentation; and assisting with CAPAs, training staff, and

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in sample management or inventory control.
• Knowledge of inventory tracking and SOPs.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, label, inventory, store and distribute samples.
• Maintain accurate records and track sample status.
• Communicate status and issues clearly to staff.
• Ensure compliant storage and documentation.
• Review requests per SOPs; support CAPAs.
• Train staff on procedures and storage requirements.
• Respond to alarms and participate in on-call support.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
