Qualifications

• Eight or more years of state and local tax experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
• Supervisory/mentoring experience is desirable.
• Ability to lead and supervise others and deliver high-quality client service.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic state and local tax compliance and consulting services for middle market and Fortune 500 clients.
• Manage multi-state reviews covering income, franchise, sales/use, gross receipts, payroll, and other taxes.
• Research nexus and taxability issues and quantify potential liabilities.
• Counsel clients on tax controversies, draft rulings, and assist in audits and notices.
• Plan and execute tax projects including due diligence and voluntary disclosures.
• Prepare technical memoranda on SALT issues for various entities.
• Maintain communication with clients and suggest process improvements to add value.
• Manage staff and seniors on engagements to meet profitability targets.
• Network and develop relationships with clients and the business community.
