BDO USA, LLP is seeking a State & Local Tax Director who will support Principals and the SALT practice through team development, client relations, and business development. The role emphasizes high standards of project management, technical leadership, and client-centricity.

The director will partner with Principals and Managing Directors to drive goals, manage engagements, and deliver SALT services across diverse client portfolios.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required, focus in Accounting or Taxation.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification or other relevant certification preferred.

• Identifies situations requiring additional research and reviews state guidance.
• Analyzes client facts to state guidance and plans outreach as needed.
• Prepares memoranda to formalize positions on state tax treatment.
