Sun Tan City in North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to drive store performance, supervise Tanning Consultants, and maintain exceptional client service. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and a proactive approach to achieving established productivity goals in a high-energy environment.

Applicants should have management and/or sales experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work a 40–45 hour week including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in management or sales preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming salon environment.
• Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and support salon director functions.
• Assist with staffing to achieve productivity and excellent customer service while controlling costs.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed, typically five days per week (40–45 hours).
